The main highlight of the smartphone is that it comes with 10GB of RAM and company’s new fast charging technology called Wrap Charge 30. It is also said that the rear panel of the smartphone is made using McLaren’s carbon fiber which has featured on all its cars since 1981.

The company launched the smartphone globally at a price tag of Rs GBP 649 which translates into Rs 58,800. Considering its specifications and features it is expected that the smartphone will be priced above Rs 50,000 in India also.

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. The smartphone sports a 6.41-inch full-HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 10GB of RAM. It offers 256GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card.
The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The rear of the handset houses a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash and a 20MP secondary sensor also with f/1.7 aperture. The company claims that the rear camera can shoot 4K videos at 60fps and it also offer support for Super Slow motion videos. The front of the handset offers a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and it can record HD videos at 30fps.
The smartphone is backed by a 3,700 mAh battery and it comes with company’s Wrap Charge 30 fast charging (30W) technology. The company claims that with this tech the smartphone can charge completely within 20 minutes. Measuring 157.5×74.8×8.2mm, the smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type C as connectivity options.
