Chinese smartphone brand Honor is all set to launch its Honor View 20 or V20 at an event in China on December 26. While the Honor View 20 would be launched in multiple RAM and storage variants, the brand also has a special edition in it mind–the Honor View 20 or V20 Maserati Edition. The device has been leaked ahead of the launch and the device is expected to flaunt higher storage and RAM when compared to the regular variants along with a new design and a Maserati logo at the back of the device, similar to the McLaren logo on the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. The handset will be official announced on December 26 in China as Honor V20, while the global launch is taking place in Paris on January 22 and could be named as View 20.

Honor claims that the Honor V20 is the brand’s first smartphone to sport an in-screen camera. As per Honor, the in-screen front camera design uses 18-layer technology stack. Honor is calling this screen Full-View Display 3.0. Another highlight of the Honor View 20 is that it offers a 48-megapixel rear camera featuring Sony IMX586 sensor, making it the world’s first smartphone to do so.

Another highlight of the smartphone is the Link Turbo feature. Using this feature, Honor has claimed that the View 20 will leverage AI and big data technologies and automatically analyse users’ usage models and network conditions to switch between Wi-Fi or 4G networks and boost downloading speed by simultaneously adopting both networks.Apart from these there are nothing much known about the device as of now. However, it is confirmed that the Honor V20 will be powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 980 processor.
