The Federal Bureau of Investigation raided the California house of YouTube star Jake Paul this early morning, according to TMZ and CBSLA. There are no aspects however on why his home was raided or what the bureau was hunting for, but ABC7 noticed agents getting rid of various objects that looked like firearms from the residence.
An FBI spokesperson verified that a “federal look for warrant was executed” this morning. The FBI declined to comment on the evidence sought or recovered, stating that the warrant remained underneath seal. The FBI also declined to say when the seal would be lifted. No arrests have been made or are planned, the spokesperson informed The Verge.
Paul’s home is also the property base of Workforce 10, Paul’s YouTube collective, and other associates routinely stay in and operate from the residence. Paul has yet to comment on the lookup. The Verge emailed Paul’s detailed company deal with requesting remark, but the information bounced back with an error expressing the address could not be located or acquire mail.
