Sensor Tower recently released its list of 10 ‘most-popular’ apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. These are the apps that were most downloaded on Android smartphones and iPhones during the year 2020, as per Sensor Tower Intelligence data. While most apps are common for both iPhone and Android phone users, there are some that are different. Here’s over to the ‘most-downloaded apps’ on Google Play Store and Apple App Store for the year 2020.
The app ranks among the top-10 most-downloaded apps on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Social networking giant Facebook’s primary app is the fifth-most downloaded app on Apple App Store and ranks at number 3 on Google Play Store.
The instant messaging app ranks at No. 6 on Apple App Store and second on Play Store.
Facebook’s dedicated messaging app — Messenger — ranks at number 7 on Apple App Store’s list and at number 6 in Google Play Store listing.
The photo-sharing app ranks at number 4 on Apple Store and at number 5 on Google Play Store.
The popular video conferencing app Zoom is the second-most downloaded app on Apple App Store. On Google Play Store, it ranks at No. 4.
The Google-owned video streaming app ranks at No. 3 on App Store. The app does not find a place among the 10 most-popular apps on Google Play Store.
Google’s email’s service ranks at No. 8 on Apple App Store. The free email service is not in 10 the most-downloaded apps on Google Play Store.
Google Maps ranks last (No. 10) among App Store’s 10 most popular apps. This Google app too is missing from Play Store’s 10 top apps’ list.
The app ranks at No. 7 on Google Play Store. It is not among the top 10 apps on Apple App Store listing.
Gmeet ranks at No. 8 on Google Play Store. The app did not find a place in the App Store listing.
Messaging app Telegram ranks at No. 9 on Google Play Store. It, however, isn’t not among the top 10 on Apple App Store listing.
Like ranks at No. 10 position on Google Play Store. The app too is not there in App Store’s 10 most-downloaded apps list.
