The component shortage for electronics and supply chain bottlenecks seems to have started hurting consumers in India now. Recently several brands including Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Samsung and others have increased the prices of their phones and other devices. “Since the last one year, we have witnessed shortages across the supply chain. Due to massive demand-supply mismatch, the majority of components used in smartphones, Smart TV and other electronic gadgets (chipsets, display panels, display driver, back panels, battery, etc.) have seen constant upward movement in their prices,” a Xiaomi spokesperson said after the recent price hike in a statement. Oppo A11k: Price increased by Rs 500
The 2GB + 32GB storage variant of the Oppo A11k has got a price hike of Rs 500. Earlier selling at Rs 8,490, it is now selling at Rs 8,990. This smartphone offers a 6.22-inch HD+ display. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 processor and houses a dual-camera setup of 13MP+2MP.
Oppo A15: Price increased by Rs 500
Both the variants of the Oppo A15 have got a price hike of Rs 500. The 2GB RAM variant was earlier priced at Rs 8,990, but now costs Rs 9,490. Similarly, the 3GB RAM variant that used to cost Rs 9,990, can now be purchased at Rs 10,490. This smartphone offers a 6.52-inch HD+ display. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. It is backed by a 4,230mAh battery and has a triple camera setup of 13MP+2MP+2MP.
Oppo A15s: Price increased by Rs 1,000
After an effective hike of Rs 1,000, the Oppo A15s is now selling at Rs 12,490. It was launched at Rs 11,490 and packs 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Offering a 6.52-inch HD+ display, this smartphone offers a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. It is backed by a 4230mAh battery and it houses a 13MP+2MP+2MP camera on the back.
Oppo A53: Price increased by Rs 1,000
The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant was launched at Rs 16,990, but after a price hike of Rs 1,000, it is now selling at Rs 17,990. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC , this smartphone houses a 6.5-inch HD+ display. Backed by a 5,000mAh battery, it has 13MP+2MP+2MP sensors.
Oppo F19: Price increased by Rs 1,000
The Oppo F19 comes in a single storage variant that packs 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. It was launched at Rs 17,990, however it has now become expensive by Rs 1,000 and can be purchased at Rs 18,990. Offering a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display this smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and a 5000mAh battery.
Realme Smart TV SLED 4K: Price increased by Rs 2,000
Launched at Rs 42,999, this smart TV has got a price hike of Rs 2,000 and can be purchased at Rs 44,999. The smart TV comes with a 55-inch 4K Cinematic SLED display, is powered by MediaTek quad-core processor and offers 16GB internal storage capacity. Realme Smart TV 4K: Price increased by Rs 1,000
The 43-inch Realme Smart TV 4K was introduced at Rs 27,999, however, the company has increased the price of the smart TV by Rs 1,000 and is now available at Rs 28,999. Realme Smart TV 4K is powered by 64-bit MediaTek quad-core processor. It is equipped with an LED screen with ultra bezel-less design. The smart TV comes with TÜV Rheinland low Blue light certification.

The base variant of the Redmi 9 Pro Max that offers 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM has got a price hike of Rs 1,000. It was earlier selling at Rs 12,999 but is now selling at Rs 13,999. The 4GB+128GB variant has got a price hike of Rs 2,000. It was earlier selling at Rs 13,999, but can now be priced at Rs 15,999.

The base variant of the Redmi 9 Pro Max that offers 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM has got a price hike of Rs 2,000. It was earlier selling at Rs 14,999 but is now selling at Rs 16,999. The 6GB+128GB variant has got a price hike of Rs 1,000. It was earlier selling at Rs 17,499, but can now be priced at Rs 18,499.
