Qualcomm on Tuesday mentioned it is doing work with Microsoft on customized chips that would manage lightweight augmented actuality eyeglasses for use by the two consumers and corporations for metaverse apps.
At the Client Electronics Clearly show in Las Vegas, Qualcomm Chief Govt Cristiano Amon said through a press conference that the two providers will operate together to mate the customized chips with the software that builders need to create virtual worlds in which people can work and enjoy.
He claimed that long run equipment from the collaboration will operate with a Microsoft application product or service called Mesh that allows consumers to beam a real looking likeness of themselves into the headset of a different person so that it feels like the two people are in the similar area.
