Tesla Cars’ Heating Difficulty Remaining Evaluated More than Basic safety Issues in US

The US car basic safety regulator stated on Friday that it is speaking about heating concerns of some Tesla motor vehicles with the automaker and analyzing “possible safety problems.”

A number of Tesla proprietors have complained that heat pumps are failing in serious chilly temperatures, according to Drive Tesla Canada.

The report said the heating complications transpired even after Tesla early final calendar year replaced defective sensors in warmth pumps in some 2020-2021 Design 3 and Product Y motor vehicles to handle the concern.

The US Nationwide Freeway Traffic Security Administration (NHTSA) reported it “is informed of the issue and is continuing to acquire details, explore the problem with Tesla and consider opportunity security problems.”

Tesla did not instantly respond to a Reuters request for comment.

Canada’s car security regulator claimed on Thursday it has opened an investigation into the heating and cooling process of Tesla Design 3 and Model Y autos pursuing 16 shopper problems about its performance throughout chilly temperature.

Transportation Canada reported it is anxious that a malfunctioning heating and air-conditioning procedure “may impact windshield defogging/defrosting and as a result driver visibility.”
