In terms of similarities, Oppo Reno 7 is powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset as seen in the Oppo Reno 6. Oppo Reno 7 looks similar to its predecessor Oppo Reno 6

The Oppo Reno 7 takes design inspiration from its predecessor Oppo Reno 6. The smartphone is available in two colour options — Starry Black and Startrails Blue. The back panel of the smartphone features an ever-changing colour effect just like its sibling Oppo Reno 7 Pro. With the feature, you get tones of blue, yellow, orange and even green when viewed at certain angles.

The Oppo Reno 7 features a 6.4-inch full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display is quite bright and we had no complaints about the colour reproductions. We tried watching videos on YouTube, Netflix and other streaming platforms and we were quite impressed with the overall quality. The screen also provided optimum results while playing games.

We had no complaints about the viewing angles as well. With a 90Hz refresh rate, the transitions on the screen are smooth and clear. Overall the display quality of the smartphone is imposing as compared to other phones in this price segment.

The auto-focus is quite quick and delivers precise results when it comes to finding the right edges.
