Taiwan tech company Acer claimed Friday it was halting all organization in Russia after Taipei expanded sanctions above Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.

Acer’s announcement arrived times right after Ukrainian Vice Key Minister Mykhailo Fedorov printed a letter to Asus chairman Jonney Shih contacting on the business to “end any relationships” with Russia.

Fedorov — who is also Ukraine’s digital minister — has also urged multinational tech businesses these types of as Intel, Microsoft and PayPal to halt operations in Russia.
