Russia will launch a lunar probe afterwards this year and deepen cooperation with Belarus on place infrastructure and technology, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.
Talking at a conference with Belarusian chief Alexander Lukashenko at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia’s Much East, Putin recalled Soviet successes in room and stated no sanctions on Russia could halt its progress.
What Russia calls its “unique armed service procedure” to demilitarise and “denazify” Ukraine triggered a barrage of sanctions from Western nations around the world which include constraints on scientific funding and cooperation.
Putin claimed Russia would build a new era transportation spaceship and systems for nuclear power in room.
He also reported it would start a probe named Luna-25 to the moon in the 3rd quarter of this calendar year.
Russia would work with Belarus on infrastructure that assures the international locations unbiased obtain to house, said Putin, adding that he’d asked Russia’s room agency, Roscosmos, to prepare a Belarusian for flight on a Russian spacecraft.
