
Common Motors and travel operator Pilot mentioned on Thursday that they will create a national network of 2,000 electric powered car or truck charging stalls at journey centres to make it less complicated to recharge near the US highways.
The companies reported the stations will be co-branded Pilot Traveling J and Ultium Cost 360, driven by EVgo and open to all EV brand names at up to 500 Pilot and Traveling J travel centres. The companies did not disclose the financial investment decision.
“GM and Pilot Business created this plan to merge non-public investments together with intended government grant and utility programs to support lower array panic and noticeably near the hole in extended-distance EV charger demand from customers,” stated Pilot Company Chief Executive Officer Shameek Konar.
