Walmart group electronic payments organization PhonePe is setting up to change its headquarters from Singapore to India, according to a source privy to the growth.
Flipkart, the premier shareholder of the company, will carry on to continue being headquartered in Singapore and there is no determination to change its base.
When contacted, a PhonePe spokesperson confirmed the development.
“We are in the approach of shifting our registered entity from Singapore to India,” the PhonePe spokesperson explained.
