Ford CEO dares Tesla CEO Elon Musk

Drawing a comparison between Tesla’s prolonged-delayed Cybertruck and Ford‘s plug-in pick up — F-150 Lightning, Ford CEO Jim Farley took a dig at tech billionaire Elon Musk while announcing a major investment decision in a photo voltaic strength.

According to The Verge, Farley spoke at a Ford plant in Michigan to announce a deal with DTE Power that both firms billed as the “biggest renewable power obtain from a utility in US history”.

But immediately after touting the firm’s move to far more sustainable sources, he designed a fast jab at his primary rival in the EV space, whom he has praised for assisting spur the field towards electric cars.

“We are actually on a mission at Ford to lead an electric and digital revolution for several, not handful of. Farley’s remark was most likely meant as a light-hearted dig at Musk, who has also utilised the Ford F-150 as a benchmark by which to measure the Cybertruck’s electrical power and functionality.
