The government will hold a meeting with business stakeholders on Wednesday to explore the selection of adopting a prevalent charger for cellular phones and other transportable electronic devices. The meeting, to be chaired by Client Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh, is scheduled publish lunch and will be attended by brands of portable electronic products, which include laptops and mobiles.
The sector-unique associations, sector bodies CII and FICCI and representatives from IIT Delhi and IIT BHU will be part of the meeting.
