
The USB Promoter Group has introduced that USB 4 version 2. will help facts transfer speeds of up to 80Gbps over the USB Variety-C cable and connector. The organisation also said that USB Form-C and USB Electricity Supply (USB PD) specs will also be up-to-date to achieve the claimed performance. The USB 4 Model 2. will also feature backwards compatibility with the prior USB 4 version.
