Twitter locks Kanye West out of his account subsequent anti-Semitic write-up

Twitter confirmed that it locked Kanye West, who now goes by “Ye,” out of his account right after he posted an anti-Semitic tweet on Saturday (by means of BuzzFeed News). “The account in query has been locked thanks to a violation of Twitter’s insurance policies,” Twitter spokesperson Katie Rosborough explained in a statement to The Verge.

It is unclear how long Ye won’t have access to his Twitter account, as the platform’s policies say it could spot a user’s profile in “read-only mode” for any place from 12 several hours to 7 times depending on the violation.
