HBO’s official trailer for The Past of Us displays off the dynamic involving Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as the two traverse a post-apocalyptic US amidst the outbreak of a mutant fungus that turns people into zombie-like beings. It offers a much additional detailed search at the risks the two occur throughout when in comparison to the past teaser, like a transient glimpse at the contaminated on their own.
Like the PlayStation recreation of the exact same name, the sequence has Joel escorting Ellie, who’s immune to the fungus, throughout the region in hopes of obtaining a treatment for the outbreak. The trailer flashes amongst scenes of dialogues showcasing Storm Reid as Ellie’s mate Riley and Nick Offerman as Invoice. At the close of the trailer, we see a swath of barnacle-included beings crawling up from out of a fire pit right before they start dashing toward the digital camera.
From what I can tell, it appears to be like like the exhibit has stayed true to the design of the fungal zombies and did a phenomenal task casting, which makes the series appear all the additional promising. If you enjoy this trailer intently adequate, you could even place Ellie’s voice actress in the game, Ashley Johnson, taking part in Ellie’s mom.
The Last of Us will come from Chernobyl creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann. It lands on HBO Max on January 15th, 2023.
